THE HOUSE

Casa Lucesole is located in the village of Fontanile, in the heart of Monferrato.  In June 2014, UNESCO recognized this area, together with Langhe and Roero, as the 50th Italian World Heritage site for the special ties between the land and culture linked to the cultivation of the vine, which over the centuries has shaped the landscape, in a perfect partnership of man and nature.

Situated in a unique panoramic position in the area, your gaze takes in the gentle contours of the Langhe and Monferrato hills and beyond finally resting on upon the dramatic background of the Alpine range which sweeps round from Monviso to Monte Rosa.

Casa Lucesole was built in the middle of the last century and has been extensively restored over the last 4 years, bringing it into the 21st century with the latest technology, and it now has features of the latest modern comfort, design, décor and  facilities, surrounded with 15,000 square metres of land, 10000 square metres laid to vine and 5,000 metres landscaped as gardens and orchard.

Both exterior and interior were studied in detail, favouring the use of natural materials and matching antique furniture with modern Made in Italy design.

A recent installation is the infinity pool with a natural Lucerne stone surround, from where you can enjoy a unique view of the beauty and grandeur of the surroundings. Whilst comfortably lounging by the pool you can take in the beautiful sunsets , enjoying a harmonious blend of natural and man made beauty.

In the mornings, when you wake up, you will be welcomed to a lavish breakfast prepared with natural and flavoursome ingredients.

To maintain the relaxed environment , we only take children over the age of 10.

BREAKFAST

We offer our guests a breakfast that reflects our lifestyle and the surroundings we live in. This is why the food on the buffet is chosen for quality and simplicity. The bread is made using only stone-ground organic flour and natural yeast.
The accompanying jams and juices are made from genuine raw and natural ingredients. You can also enjoy our delicious fruit and vegetable juices, prepared for you, on the spot, with the use of a juice extractor.
The butter, cheese and cured meats are locally made and typical of the area.
